Due to coronavirus (COVID-19)Florida Tech Athletics will be suspending all athletic activities indefinitely, effective immediately.

Those were the words everyone expected, but no one wanted to see. With the suspension of the NCAA Tournament, the NBA, MLS, NHL, MLB, and PGA seasons, among others… Thursday night Florida Tech followed suit. Sunshine State Conference schools including Rollins, and Florida Southern among others are also ending their seasons early. It is likely just a matter of time before the conference shuts down as a whole.

Our sincerest best wishes go out to all of the Florida Tech athletes, especially the seniors that we have gotten to know since we started this site in 2016. They are the ones affected most by this decision, and our hearts go out to them. That said, they are all going to do wonderful things in this world, whether it is in the job world or in the sports world, and their safety of most important.
