BSN Future Star – Abigail Frisco – Brevard Heat

Abigail Frisco plays volleyball and softball for the Brevard Heat, an organization offering sanctioned sports through the FHSAA for home-schooled athletes. Abigail is a two-sport athlete, excelling on the volleyball court at the softball field.

Frisco is heading into her sophomore year. She is the captain and primary setter for the volleyball team and won Player of the Match twice in 2019. On October 14 against Morningside Academy, the Heat came back to win a hard-fought match that saw Frisco put up a stellar all-around effort. Her 99 earned her 10 assists and she had 22 digs, five aces, and 12 points.

The Heat was down two sets in that match, but Abigail’s leadership sparked a total team effort that saw the Heat come back from two sets down and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, earning a 3-2 win. The team lost their next match against Merritt Island, finishing off a 7-9 season.

Abigail played in 11 games for the softball team as a freshman, batting .133, scoring 14 runs, and driving in four more.  Abigail’s career is off to a promising start and 2020 promises to be a big year for her.
