BSN FUTURE STAR Anna Burrows – Palm Bay Softball

Anna Burrows and the Palm Bay Pirates played just 10 softball games before the season was ultimately canceled. Burrows made the most of her shortened junior season, hitting .484 with 15 hits, 12 RBIs, and eight runs scored.

In a game against Satellite on February 27, Burrows had a career night, going 6-for-6 at the plate, driving in six runs, and scoring two. She was named the Player of the Game that night in an extra-innings loss.

The following night, Burrows went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs scored in a 17-5 win against Westwood.

There were only two games this season that Burrows went hitless, and she had at least one RBI in half of the Pirates games.

It would have been great to see what Anna could have done if this season played out, but thankfully, she gets one more crack at it next spring. Brevard Sports Network wishes her and the Pirates the best of luck next season.
