BSN FUTURE STAR PEYTON FARLEY – SPACE COAST SOFTBALL

Peyton Farley is the definition of a student-athlete. The Space Coast softball star just finished her junior year at the school with a 4.0 GPA and is dual-enrolled at Eastern Florida State College. She will graduate with her AA when she graduates from high school. She scored 1260 on her SAT and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Nu at EFSC.

Peyton has shined on the athlete side as well. She has excelled with the Firecrackers Gold 16u, as well as playing for Space Coast. She has been a captain at Space Coast since her sophomore year.

Primarily a pitcher and an infielder for the Vipers, Farley hit .322 in 26 games as a freshman, .349 in 27 games as a sophomore, and a robust .368 this season in 13 games with 14 hits, nine RBIs, and nine runs scored, hitting two home runs for good measure before the season was short-circuited.

As a pitcher, Peyton throws in the mid-’50s consistently and has quite the pitching repertoire, throwing a drop ball, curveball, screwball, change-up, and a fastball. She struck out 76 batters as a sophomore and had 32 this season.

Farley has been recognized as a Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-State player for 2020, as well as an all-academic recognition. She was also nominated for the 2019-20 Space Coast High School Female Athlete of the Year.

We wish Peyton the best of luck in her senior year with the Vipers.
