BSN FUTURE STAR RILEY JACKSON – EAU GALLIE BASEBALL

Eau Gallie baseball standout Riley Jackson got only 11 games under his belt in his freshman season, before everything was shut down. He made the most of those 11 games for the Commodores, hitting .457 (16-for-35) for a Commodores team that was 10-1, including 4-1 in district play.

Jackson, who has committed to Florida State, was named to the All-Cape Coast Conference team for 2020 and is a member of the 5 Star National 14–U Travel Team. He is primarily a catcher but plays the hot corner as well.

Jackson went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run in the Commodores’ last game against Lincoln Park Academy. It was a 9-2 win for the team and avenged their only loss of the season. Jackson finished the season with 16 hits and 12 RBIs.

There was only one game this season that Jackson went hitless, while he had five two-hit games and that three-hit night.

It is early, but Riley has already shown a strong arm, clocked at 83 miles per hour, and ran his 60-yard dash in 7.37 seconds. He has already shown so much potential and with three years remaining at Eau Gallie, there is so much more left to accomplish.

Brevard Sports Network will be following Riley and the Commodores as his star continues to rise.
