After months of uncertainty and not posting a recap of a Florida Tech sports contest since March 12, 2020, when the lacrosse season and everything else shut down — sportslowdown.com is ready to get fresh content on the site.

Women’s basketball travels to Lakeland tomorrow (Friday, February 5), for a 6:00 p.m. tip against the Florida Southern Moccasins. Our scoreboard is again active on the home page and we will be updating that throughout the game.

As of now, the women have four games scheduled. Tomorrow and Sunday in Lakeland and next Wednesday and Saturday against Barry. The first home game will be the Saturday game, with tipoff scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on February 13.

The men have had their games against Florida Southern postponed. They will officially open their season at home against Barry on Wednesday, February 10. They will travel to Barry on Saturday, February  13 at 2:00 p.m.

All of these games are subject to change and may be canceled on short notice. We will be updating our Twitter feed @sports_lowdown with the latest information, as it becomes available.
