No. 4 PBA Beats Florida Tech

The fourth-ranked Palm Beach Atlantic men’s soccer team won their eighth match in a row on Wednesday, taking down the Florida Tech Panthers (5-6-1, 2-5-1 SSC)  3-1 in a Sunshine State Conference tilt at West Palm Beach.

Julien Remiti scored the Panthers only goal of the night in this one, beating PBA goalie Guilermo Falo Ejea 14:54 into the second half. It was the only short Remiti took in the match.

By that time Nemanja Zivanovic had already scored twice for the Sailfish getting a goal 13:15 into the match and then at the 52:09 mark, beating Florida Tech netminder Nick Brady, who made six saves on the night.

The Palm Beach Atlantic defense made things tough on the Panthers all night as Florida Tech was held without a shot in the first half and had just two for the game.

Nicholas Oberrauch scored in the 70th minute to give the home team a 3-1 lead and seal their 12th win of the season overall and eighth in Sunshine State Conference play.
